"Garbage Busters 2," a project in which Fuji Junior Chamber participates, is a special clean-up team formed during the "Fuji Festival," Fuji City's largest summer festival. Aiming to be "Japan's cleanest festival," the team picks up litter and promotes waste sorting awareness.
Under the spirit of the Fuji Citizens' Charter — "Beautiful like Mt. Fuji, loving nature, creating a clean environment" — residents, junior high school students, and sponsoring companies work together. Last year, approximately 350 people took part.
This year as well, the team will be active at the Fuji Festival 2026 venue. Let's all enjoy the festival while working together to build a beautiful city.
